Taking The Stress Out Of Birthdays.....Pizza Express Kids Pizza Making Parties.

A few weeks ago the Toothpaste Kids and I were invited to experience a Pizza Express Kids Pizza Making Party.
We made our way to Central London with a huge amount of excitement...I love pizza and the kids love making a mess, so really it was the ideal day out for all of us.  The Pizza Express Kids Pizza Making Parties really take the stress out of your child's birthday party, they provide not only the venue but the invitations, food, drinks, games and a balloon/certificate to take home too!
Once we were welcomed to the lovely Bruton Place branch of Pizza Express we were shown to a dedicated party area which had small tables and chairs set up for the kids and a comfy seating area behind for the parents.  The kids loved colouring in their own special Pizzaiolo (chef) hats and I must say I thought Grace looked especially cute in hers.

After a delicious starter of Dough Balls and Piccolo Side Salad the kids were super excited to be given their own lump of dough to roll out and decorate as they chose.

Whilst the kids were busy being entertained by the lovely staff we were free to sit back and enjoy some fantastic food of our own :-)
Whilst we were enjoying our food and the kids pizza were in the oven they got to play a few party games with their waiter, Matt, which they really enjoyed.
Once their pizza were cooked they sat and happily ate it, the fact that they had chosen their own toppings obviously helped a great deal.  They all said their pizzas were delicious.
and they had ice cream for afters!
The kids had a great time at the party and they loved the balloons and certificates they each got to bring home too.....
All in all I think the Pizza Express Kids Pizza Making Parties are great value for money, they cost £11.95 per person and the average party size is usually about 8-10 to maximise the enjoyment of the experience.  I definitely would use this as a future birthday party idea for one of the kids as it is a bit different to the other restaurant parties I have come across as it is so hands on and gives the kids an opportunity to do something they really love doing.  I also liked how the staff took charge of the kids and we were free to sit back and enjoy ourselves watching (Lazy?! Moi?!).  The only thing you might want to provide if you have one of these parties is a cake and a little party bag, maybe Pizza Express could look to making these add-ons to their service?

Disclosure: We were invited to try this experience free of charge but all opinions are our own.
