An introduction to 1stFone & Giveaway

What is the right age to give your child their own mobile phone? Chloe is 11 next week and has her own phone, but Charlie is only 7 and still too young. This week I came across the perfect product to bridge the gap between him not being responsible enough to have a phone and him not being able to contact me at all should he need to.

The 1stFone is the world's simplest mobile phone. It has a bunch of innovative features that make it perfect for children to use as a direct line to the people they need, when they need them. We are just about to take delivery of a 1stFone for Charlie, he is only 7 but there are times that I wish he was able to ring me of his own accord if he wanted to, we can't wait for it to arrive! These are the features of this great little device:

Small and light - 1stFone is credit card sized and only weighs 40g.

Personalised - You design your 1stFone and they build it for you.

Ready to use - 1stFone is ready to use straight out of the box.

Easy to use - To make a call just press a name button.

Controllable - 1stFone only calls the people you choose.

No Text or Internet - Just good old fashioned voice calls.

There are loads of different designs on the website to choose from for your 1stFone, we went for the black shark design for Charlie and he really loves the look of it. It was dead simple to order and all we needed to do was input the names and numbers of the people we wanted programmed into it. Once the phone arrives we will post a full review of how we get on with it but for the time being the lovely people at 1stFone have also given me the opportunity to giveaway one of their handsets (worth over £50), plus a month’s worth of free calls, to one of my lovely readers.

Fancy it? All you need to do is follow the instructions on the rafflecopter widget below.
