Radical Reward Charts Review

I was recently asked if I would like to receive some Radical Reward Charts to use with the youngest two Toothpaste kids, Alfie and Grace, and whilst being aware that their behaviour really isn't generally that bad I decided that a bit of positive reinforcement could be a really good thing.

When the charts arrived I was very impressed with the quality of them and I loved the little Alfie and Grace marker that came with them, obviously the idea is that mini Alfie and Grace move up the chart when big Alfie and Grace do a good thing.  We have stuck them up in our dining room so that we can see them all the time and I thought that if I put them in their rooms they may reach 20 much faster than they ought to..haha.  The designs on these charts are totally original and they all feature wildlife, fish or birds.  Alfie really likes his "Reedy River" themed chart, but Grace isn't overly keen on the massive Piranha on her "Orrible Ocean" chart.

Radical Reward Charts are unique, personalised charts that really encourage your child to do their very best, my two have only had their charts for just over a week but already the improvement in the motivation to do as they are asked and desire to please has notably improved.  Just this morning Alfie tidied up his bedroom without a single grumble as I said he could move up his chart if he did a good job.

If have let the children decide what their rewards will be when they reach the top of their charts, Alfie has said he would like to go to his favourite restaurant (Chinese...he's got good taste like his Mum!) and Grace would like a new bottle for her toy baby.  I think I might give them each a small reward when they get to halfway too just to keep them motivated.

I think these charts are fab and will definitely keep on using them, and they can be used over and over again which is great.  I think the only thing I would say is that I would like for there to be some more designs produced that girls especially would appreciate, this system could work quite well for Chloe and Charlie too but Chloe (being nearly 11) especially wouldn't like the designs.

Radical Reward Charts are available on Amazon, through the Radical Rewards website or by emailing them at goodkids@radicalrewardcharts.com and are priced at £14 inc personalised mini figure and postage.

Disclosure:  I was sent 2 Radical Reward Charts for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own.
