My Sweaty Betty Pinterest Competition Win

A few months ago I wrote this post about why I love Pinterest, one of the reasons being the fab but low entry competitions that are run on there.  A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win Sweaty Betty's most recent Pinterest competition with this board.  You had to create your own board inspired by all things Wimbledon and include some pieces from Sweaty Betty's wonderful tennis collection.  If you are not familiar with Sweaty Betty, it is a chain of boutique shops that sell women's fitness and leisure wear.  I have one of their shops quite near me in a large shopping centre called Bluewater but I must admit I have never bought anything as to be honest I couldn't justify spending £40 on a pair of leggings for myself when that would buy a pair of shoes or a trip out for the children, however I must admit that I have always admired the items they sell.

I was absolutely delighted when my vouchers arrived within a few days of being announced the winner and I got straight onto the website to choose my goodies, there is no better feeling than shopping for free!  I love to watch Wimbledon but I never was much of a player, even at school, so the pieces that I chose to buy with my vouchers weren't tennis kit.  My items arrived the next day after I placed my order, which I was really impressed with as I didn't order them on a next day delivery and they were well packaged up in a fab reusable bag.  I also liked how they kept you up to date with the delivery status, even down to telling me to within the hour when my parcel was going to arrive.

This is what I chose:

These leggings are absolutely awesome, as much as I hate to admit it these really are worth their £39 price tag.  They are so soft and comfortable and you just know that there's no way they are going to sag or everyone is going to be able to see your knickers through them!

This Deluxe Knit Hoody was my bargain piece as it was reduced by 50% in their sale from £125 to £62.  As soon as I saw it I knew it would be so versatile and I would be able to wear it with jeans as well as leggings.  I absolutely love this piece, it is so soft and looks such good quality.

I chose this plain white yoga vest as it is a great wardrobe staple and I knew I would be able to get lots of wear out of it, either wearing it casually with jeans or as workout wear.  It cost £20 and comes in 5 or so other colours too.  The material is really high quality and you can tell it wont lose its shape like many cheaper vests do all to quickly.

I am super thrilled with my prizes and I will be definitely be paying my local Sweaty Betty shop a visit much more frequently from now on!
