When imitation is not the highest form of flattery

Last weekend I came across a blog that I really wished I had not seen after I had looked at it.  I have wrestling with myself since then as to whether to write this post..however for my own sanity I think I must.
I wished I had not seen it because much of it very closely resembled my own.
A coincidence you might think? Unfortunately not.  The owner of the blog in question is actually known to me in "real life".  Mind you, I say known but I have never met her in person.  I don't really feel it's appropriate to write here why I have the displeasure to have come to know this person, but I can assure you that the last thing she should be doing is goading me.  She has followed me across the t'interweb for a number of years and after popping up on yet another one of my social media accounts I decided to look at the blog listed on one of her profiles and was absolutely astounded to be faced with a lot of content that looks amazingly similar to my own. I couldn't quite believe my eyes.
Why do you feel the need to emulate me?  The only person you are going to embarrass in the end is yourself.  I am not naming you, I am not giving you the satisfaction of driving traffic to your blog and I certainly don't, and never will, feel threatened in any way by you.
Leave me alone, write your own content and we can both reside in bloggersphere in relative harmony.  If you goad me any further and I will name and shame you and tell them what I had to go through at the hands of you and a person that I loved, and still love now, more than anything in the world.  Your choice.

  1. Good for you for getting on with your life and not allowing this person to grind you down.

As for this person - get a life and find peace! You are obviously still threatened by Linz!
