Little Green Fingers

Little green fingers that are eager to grow,
Seeds are planted and they will them to show.
Like my beautiful children with their forks and spade,
The Seeds need love and care and shade.
The seeds start to sprout small and unsure,
Searching for nourishment they begin to explore.
The children watch in wonder every day,
As the shoots grow larger "They're growing!" I hear them say.
Soon our seeds grow strong and tall,
We look on proudly as they never fall.
One day my children will also grow strong and tall,
With their Mothers shade and nourishment they also never shall fall.
